With only a month left in the regular season, the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Penn State DuBois are riding high and making moves up the division standings in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC). Both teams came into last week on multiple-game win streaks and looked to keep that momentum going as the calendar flipped to February.
Penn State DuBois has announced the campus dean’s list and part-time dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester. In recognition of academic excellence, students who achieved a one-semester grade-point average of 3.50 or above and who earned 12 or more credits toward GPA are named to the dean’s list, while students who achieved a one-semester grade-point average of 3.50 or above and who earned six through 11.9 credits toward GPA are named to the part-time dean’s list.
For the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Penn State DuBois, the month of January typically means that games within the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) come quickly and often. This means momentum is important to keep moving up the standings within the conference. Entering last week, both the Nittany Lions and Lady Lions were looking to pick up some wins that would help them improve their position in the PSUAC.
The Penn State DuBois Office of Student Engagement will welcome students and members of the public to Hiller Auditorium on Thursday, Jan. 30, for a performance from Pan-Celtic rock band Barleyjuice.
With the spring semester now in full swing, that means that conference games within the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) start coming in full swing for the basketball teams at Penn State DuBois. While both teams started the semester nonconference games, the conference schedule is full for both teams moving forward.
Penn State DuBois has announced the students who will represent the campus at THON 2025, as well as those donors who will take part in the annual hair auction benefiting THON.
During the fall semester, the Penn State DuBois Library celebrated the official opening of its Sensory Study Space, a thoughtfully designed room tailored to support student well-being and enhance the campus study experience. This innovative space was made possible in part by a donation from Brett Spencer, a reference librarian at Penn State Berks, and his wife, Danielle, in memory of her mother, Marcia Lynne Anderson Jackson.
Marking the end of their educational journey that has been filled with hard work and dedication, graduates from Penn State DuBois, along with their family and friends, gathered in Hiller Auditorium on Friday, Dec. 20, to celebrate their accomplishments during the campus’ fall 2024 commencement celebration.
For the third consecutive year, Penn State DuBois welcomed high school students from across District 1 of Pennsylvania DECA for their annual conference.
